** Good News **
We are so happy to announce that the Carter Fold is opening again!  This concert will be our first since closing due to Covid in early March of 2020. At present, we plan to continue weekly concerts through November 20. We will then close for the winter until March 2022 in case of a Covid resurgence. We ask that our audience be mindful of Covid and respectful of Covid concerns.

The Carter Family Fold is a family friendly, alcohol and drug free facility.

Unless otherwise stated, Saturday evening shows begin at 7:30pm.
dmission is $10 unless noted, depending on the program, $2 for children 6 to 11 effective August 13th, children under age 6 is free.

Any exceptions will be noted in the schedule listing.

The Museum & Cabin open at 6:00pm on Saturdays.  Admission to the Museum and Cabin is by donation.  Tickets are available at the door the evening of the shows.  Advance tickets are not available unless noted in the schedule. For recorded and most up-to-date program information, call 276-386-6054.  If you need to speak with a volunteer staff member, call 276-594-0676.  If we don’t answer immediately, we’ll get back to you within 24 hours.

** Announcement **

The Carter Music Center is proud to announce that the Ken Burns Florentine Films documentary on country music that premiered on PBS can be streamed on some services.  You can also order copies from PBS and Amazon.  The series kicks off with a concert from the historic Ryman Auditorium and traces country music to its’ humble beginnings in the early part of this century. There is a total of eight segments which represent the most comprehensive documentation of country music to date. It has received a glowing review from Rolling Stone Magazine.
