Tickets

Admission is $5 for adults, $1 for children 6-11. Children under 6 are free.

A group rate of $4.50 is available to groups of 10 or more adults.

Series tickets (five shows in advance) are available for purchase at the door only.
(Purchase a group of five shows in advance, receive one free admission.)

Museum and A.P. Carter Cabin admission are 50 cents each. Museum and Cabin are open at 6:00 p.m. Saturdays.

Saturday shows begin at 7:30 p.m. year round.

Tickets for Annual Festival: Tickets for the annual Carter Family Memorial Festival are priced at (adults) $20 per day or $35 for both days. Children ages 6 through 11 are $1. Children under 6 are free.

Smithsonian to the Mountains tickets ($10) will be available at the BCMA Museum and at the Carter Fold door.

Inclement weather, especially in the winter, does happen in our area, but we rarely have to cancel a performance. Nevertheless, it's a good idea to call just to make sure there is no weather-related cancellation. Because the Center is in a rural location, access can be difficult during snow and ice. By noon on Saturday there will be a message announcing any cancellation we have been forced to make. Normally the Center has only one or two cancellations a year due to weather. Because we know some folks come long distances to see our shows, our policy is to avoid cancellations unless absolutely necessary.

Should Christmas fall on Saturday, the Carter Family Fold will be closed. Otherwise, there will be a show every Saturday. The week prior to Christmas we have a free community Christmas concert. In lieu of admission, we ask that everyone bring a donation of canned goods for the Second Harvest Food Bank plus a two-liter drink, finger food, plates, or napkins. We have special Christmas music, enjoy some good Christmas cooking, and then move the tables back and have some hoedown music.
